Living Faithfully as Women in the 21st Century – Juanita Peterson Lectures

Juanita Peterson lectures begin 9/13. “Living Faithfully as Women in the 21st Century”, a series of four lectures presented by four dynamic public leaders will begin on Sunday, September 13. Come hear stories of serving in the public arena, in family life, and in education while maintaining a vibrant and relevant faith.

* Bishop Janice R. Huie, Texas Annual Conference – October 11, Wesley UMC, 1160 San Bernard St.
* Dr. Betty Sue Flowers, former Director of the LBJ Library and UT Professor – October 25, Asbury UMC, 1605 E 38 St.
* The Honorable Wilhelmina Delco, former member of the Texas House of Representatives – November 1, Northwest Hills UMC, 7050 Village Center Dr.

Each lecture will be presented on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 5:00 pm with time for dialogue with the presenter, and will include breakout sessions with facilitators & resource leaders. Admission is free. Childcare is provided by registration only – call New Life Institute at 512/469-9447.
