2010 CROP Walk – March 6th & 7th

From Austin Area Interreligious Ministries:

Due to spring renovations at Roy Guerrero Park, our 2010 CROP Hunger Walk is moving to the beautiful Walter E. Long Metropolitan Park, located just east of town.  The dates will remain the same, March 6 and 7, 2010.  Please visit AAIM’s CROP Walk webpage for more information.

About the Walk

The CROP Hunger Walk brings together Austinites to raise money and awareness to relieve hunger and support refugees both internationally and in Austin.  In 2009, we raised $132,000 with 2000 walkers!

AAIM is proud to sponsor the Austin CROP Hunger Walk. Of the money raised, 75% goes to international relief efforts provided by Church World Service while 25% stays in Austin supporting the Capital Area Food Bank, Catholic Charities of Central Texas, Refugee Services of Texas, Imani Community Church (AME) Fishes and Loaves pantry, Dolores Catholic Church food pantry, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Food Pantry and Shower Ministry, and Urban Roots.

Please contact me at atutt@aaimaustin.org or 512-415-6024 with any questions.

In peace,
