Trinity still needs 2 energetic folks who are concerned with senior issues to act as representatives on the Board of Directors for North Central Austin Caregivers.  The Board meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12:30 PM.  Please email the office at mail@trinitychurchofaustin.org if you are interested in this opportunity.

The North Central Austin Caregivers recently celebrated their 20th year of service to the community.  Seventeen churches in Central Austin are helping the elderly adults remain independent in their own homes.  Trinity UMC has been a part of this group since 1991.

Each church is to be represented by 2 members on the Board of Trustees.  Trinity needs representation.  Financial help is needed each year from the churches along with applied grants and fundraisers.

NCC is also part of Faith in Action Caregivers of Austin.  Eight caregiver organziations in the metropolitan area form this organization to help with collaborative functions.

This past year NCC have continued helping over 200 adult clients with the help of over 10,000 volunteer hours.

Like all non-profit groups, pledges have not come in as budgeted.  Fundraisers are being planned.
