Best of Austin Campaign

Trinity is conducting a campaign to win an award in the 2010 Austin Chronicle’s Best of Austin Contest. Can you believe we haven’t won any awards from them in 16 years? Twice we have taken Best Baby-Sitting Deal with our Parents’ Night Out, and in 1994 we won Best Progressive Church. Help us do it again!

Since there is no category for churches, we have to conduct a write-in campaign to make this happen. Voting is not anonymous, so you can vote only once either online or by using the paper ballot found in the Chronicle newspaper. We will be collecting Chronicles to bring in to church on Sunday, July 18th so that we can all fill out our ballots together. Amy will collect the ballots afterward to make sure they are postmarked by the Monday, July 19th deadline.

IMPORTANT! When you vote, fill in our personal information and then go to the end of the ballot. In the Wild Card entry, please write: Trinity United Methodist for Best Progressive Church.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to be able to hang one of those eye-catching Best of Austin banners outside our new home? Please help us make Trinity’s progressive stance more visible in the community by voting online or voting with us during Sunday’s celebrations.
