We definitely do, but somebody put something in the water and now our infant room is full of tiny fingers and toes and sweet baby smiles. How would you like to be one of the special volunteers who gets to hold those sweet babies on Sunday mornings? We would love to have some volunteers who would become the nursery nannies (or mannies!) as we grow. Ideally, volunteers would commit to a regular schedule (every 1st Sunday, every 1st and 3rd Sunday, every Sunday, etc.) You can volunteer for a regular time slot on a given Sunday, or you can volunteer for the entire Sunday, depending upon your schedule and preferences.
Volunteer Needs:
- Combined Schedule – 10:15 – 11:45ish (depending on when the 10:30 celebration is finished);
- Regular Schedule – 9:00 – 10:30ish (during imprints), 10:15 – 11:15ish (during adult Sunday School/choir practice), 11:00 – 12:30ish (during weave), 12:30 – 2:00ish (during earthbound);
- Wednesday Night Alive classes (starting back in 2011);
- Occasional miscellaneous events.
We never know how many kiddos will show up on any given Sunday, so sometimes you may find that there aren’t any babies during your volunteer time. Never fear – we can put your time and talents to good use helping out our staff with some of the other little guys if you are up for it! Please email children@trinitychurchofaustin.org to volunteer! Note: All adult staff and volunteers working with children are required to pass a background check through the Southwest Texas United Methodist Conference.
