Donate your favorite children’s book, or a children’s book that has had great meaning in your own life to Nobelity Project’s Books for Hope project. Donors are asked to write their name and hometown inside the cover, and a short note about why they love the book, or what it has meant to them. Those names, cities and notes will be the entry to a world of learning and endless possibilities. If you include a small donation to help Nobelity cover shipping it is also much appreciated! Mahiga Hope Library and other libraries from Morocco to Bangladesh will serve boys and girls, men and women, from pre-school to an adult literacy program, so the possibilities for what books would be useful are also endless. Young reader books and non-fiction books about science, technology and the world around us could be particularly useful. Think back to your childhood – was there a book that helped get you where you are today?
Please bring your book to one of Trinity’s Christmas Eve services and we will deliver the books to Turk and Christy Pipkin of the Nobelity Project. If you can, please include a small donation to help the Nobelity Project with shipping overseas. If you are unable to attend a service, please feel free to drop off your book at Trinity’s office during the week of December 20 – 24 between 9:30 am and 5 pm.
