Last Sunday we worked with Respect, exploring our personal experiences with self-respect, respect from others, and disrespect. We looked to examples from Jesus and the 10 Commandments for understanding respect in the bible, and made our own interpretations of what these lessons from Christianity mean for us today. This Sunday, Jan. 30th, we will be using role-plays and situation cards to further our understanding of how to best practice respect, and handle situations of disrespect. We will also start planning our next youth recreational activity.
