Dear Trinity Family,
It is with great sadness that I write to you. Our dear Esther died this morning about half past six. She was at home surrounded by her family and close friends. Esther’s cancer came quickly and with a vengeance. There are many folks who did not have a chance to say goodbye, but I can assure you that she felt your love and prayers every moment on her journey. Esther wanted to live much longer but she was also ready to go, realizing the fullness of blessing that came through all her relationships. Her death has left a gaping hole in the Trinity community and in our world. The last few days have been difficult for her but she held on till she was ready to let go on her own terms. We can find comfort in knowing that her death was peaceful. Our love and prayers are especially with her husband Will, her daughters Sheila and Kristi, her step-daughter Kaye, and her lovely grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Tonight we are making Trinity’s chapel available from 6:30 to 7:30 for members and friends to come by to support each other, to pray, and remember Esther.
A memorial service will be held in the Trinity Sanctuary on Saturday, April 30th at 3pm. It will be followed by a potluck in the Trinity Community Hall. All are welcome.
Love,
Sid
