Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make our first annual event celebrating The Great Kindness Challenge a success! Though we entered the fray rather late in the game, many folks jumped in to bring it all together. In particular I want to thank Sarah Barnes, Wendy Clark, Monica Faucheaux, Sid Hall, Kaye Love, Matt Moon, Catherine & John Moore, & Lauren Thompson
We had a great visit to the fire station and got to tour the station and the engine. You will see our messages of kindness and peace on the sidewalks around Trinity, and may even see some of our “kindness matters” hearts on cars around, as well. We assembled 65 sack lunches for the Homeless Task Force to distribute on Sunday. We were joined at Shipe Park by Judge Nancy Hohengarten (Travis County Judge) and Elliott Naishtat, Texas House of Representatives (District 49), along with 2 elected officials all the way from Colorado.
