Children’s Program – October

  • October 16
    • We’re spending the month of October learning about how we can serve others. This week, we’ll focus on using uplifting words, thoughts, and prayers. What can you make from straws, yarn, and some kind words from your friends? Come to Sunday School at 10:30 to find out! During Worship time, we’re working on our super awesome project for the Jovitas Silent Auction.

    • During Sunday School (10:30 am), Trinity’s own Brandon Wollerson will share about his work caring for the sick at Doug’s House, a part of Project Transitions, which serves those living with HIV/AIDS in Central Texas. How can you help? Bring an item to donate to Top Drawer, the thrift store that raises money for Brandon’s company.   During Worship Time, we’ll finish our Jovitas project!

    • This Sunday Trinity will be celebrating our ancestors and loved ones who are no longer with us. We will continue our tradition of exploring rituals from three different backgrounds in Latin America and Europe.  The children will be celebrating with silly spooky stories, decorating pumpkins, a Halloween Treasure Hunt, and more! Come join the fun!  What to bring?  Wear your costume and smile. :-)  Also, bring a picture or item for the altar in celebration of El Día de los Muertos (imprints), Samhain (earthbound), and All Saint’s Day (weave.)
