Dear Donors of time and food,

As a recently widowed senior citizen, I found myself needing the help of strangers and ended up on your doorstep.  I was flabbergasted with the generosity of your Hope Food Pantry.

I went in hoping for a bit to eat (which I received) and to my surprise I came out with a turkey and other wonderful items, including a pie!  Thanksgiving was going to be just another day in which to give thanks to our Lord, yet now it will also be a day to share a lovely meal with some of my other disabled and/or widowed friends who will be delighted when I tell them of my good fortune.

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate what you have done simply out of the goodness of your hearts.  You really reinstated my faith.
