Hello, my Extended Trinity Family:

Of course, I think of you as mine now, as your kindness and prayers have been with me during the past couple of weeks.

I find it difficult to express my appreciation for your care and patience, especially allowing Amy to be with me during the past weeks as I was so terribly sick.  I could not have managed without her.  It was a very important time for me to have my family around me, and at the same time, it was a very important time for my family to be together.   During this time, we formulated some strong plans for when I finally retire and move to Austin.

I look forward to being a part of your church when that time comes, and between now and then please know that I have a strong commitment to your church.
