Pastors for Peace is a special ministry of the Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization (IFC), and was created in 1988 to pioneer the delivery of humanitarian aid to Latin America and the Caribbean.  Many thousands of people have participated since their founding in more than 40 caravans to Mexico and Central America, 16 to Cuba and many delegations and work brigades. Trinity UMC has hosted the caravan volunteers when they drive through Austin for many years, and this year is no different. We are in need of host families to provide lodging for 20 Pastors for Peace Caravanistas on Saturday, July 14^th.  Host families will need to be able to transport their Caravanistas to and from their homes Saturday evening and Sunday morning, and provide a meal Saturday evening and breakfast Sunday morning.  Please sign up on the clipboard on Sunday or email Amy at info@trinitychurchofaustin.org.  Please note how many folks you can host!
