The Hope Food Pantry will be giving away turkeys to our clients each Thursday and Friday of the first three weeks in November. We plan to give out 40 turkeys each day we are open – That’s a total of 240 turkeys!

We are seeking cash donations to help with the cost. The Natural Grocer, one of our corporate partners, will match all donations to the Food Pantry made at their store during November and December. All you have to do is go to their store (and possibly shop for some of their wonderful, organic items) and then tell them that you wish to donate to Hope Food Pantry. It’s a way to double your donation.

If you can’t make it by the Natural Grocer, here are some more options for ways to give:

• Send a check to Hope Food Pantry at 4001 Speedway, Austin 78751.
• Place your check/cash donation in the offering plate at Trinity any Sunday in November.
• Donate through The City at www.tumc.onthecity.org/give.  If you are not a member of The City, you can still give without having an account (if you’d like to join, visit www.tumc.onthecity.org/kiosk.) Under “Select a Fund” choose Hope Food Pantry Turkey Fund.
