We are so pleased to announce the start of Trinity’s new Youth Leadership Program! Our first class will take place on Sunday, September 8th at 10:30 am in the upstairs youth room.

The goal of this program is to provide instruction and discussion that will introduce and strengthen skills that will serve them as they become active in service and leadership. In addition, we will be focusing on developing and documenting their portfolio of experiences for future job and college applications.

There are four main components to this program, each of which addressed on a specific Sunday of the month. Please note that during the month of September, everything is shifted back one Sunday, so the first Sunday is actually September 8th. The four components are:

• Child Development: On the first Sunday of every month, our Children’s Coordinator, Peter Marsh, will work with the youth on skills needed to be successful working with children. These skills will be helpful to them if they volunteer in the children’s program here at Trinity, as they seek babysitting jobs, and in other volunteer positions/careers in which they are working with children.
