I was born the cold day of December 4, 1990 to my loving parents Wade and Diane Marshall. Since then I grew up in the gradually growing city of Mesquite, TX with my parents and my younger brother, Josh, being raised up in both the Reformed Church and Presbyterian (U.S.A) traditions.
It was during my sophomore year of high school when I realized my vocation in life was youth ministry. This realization led to further participation in my home church, First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite, TX, in order to understand how the church is run and what is necessary to begin my own ministry with youth.
I furthered my studies at Austin College, a Presbyterian private college in Sherman, TX. There I studied in a double major program of both Music and Religious Studies. I became part of a local Christian fraternity known as Chi Tau Chi, which was known for its ecumenical brotherhood.
