Over the last decade, more than one person per month has died in North America due to transgender-based hate or prejudice, regardless of any other factors in their lives. Many of these crimes against gender-diverse individuals remain unreported and unsolved.
The trend shows no sign of abating.
With this in mind we invite you to stand with us in solidarity, to remember the dead and to celebrate the living.
