Donations to Hope Food Pantry

Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage at 3901 Guadalupe Street, the Arbor Walk, and in Cedar Park will be accepting donations on Hope Food Pantry Austin’s behalf and will match all the donations, doubling the impact. The pantry will use this money to purchase food items to help fill the shelves. Please visit any one of these stores and tell the cashier you would like to donate to Hope.

Hope Food Pantry operates on Thursday and Friday mornings at Trinity UMC, and is staffed by volunteers from several area churches. We provide groceries to needy families and individuals. We receive donations and also purchase items from Capitol Area Food Bank and local grocery stores.

In the third quarter of this year, Hope volunteers served 3,154 individuals, and 1,117 were children. 8,694 pounds of food were donated. We are also giving away 40 purchased turkeys each Thursday and Friday in November.
The mission of Hope Food Pantry will be more important than ever, because of upcoming cuts in food stamps and other reductions in social services.
