We will meet in the Trinity community hall after church Sunday for a potluck lunch and discussion.
Joanne Holladay will give a brief introduction to the spiritual dimensions of women’s poetry, including the use of metaphors from the natural world, seeking authority within, the centrality of relationship, a prophetic voice for justice, and finally, a revisioning of the Divine. Then we will read and discuss poems that illustrate each of these dimensions.
All are welcome! Rides home will be available for those who need them.
