Pastors for Peace is a special ministry created in 1988 to pioneer the delivery of humanitarian aid to Latin America and the Caribbean. It’s a huge project linking people, vehicles, and humanitarian aid. Caravans travel on different routes throughout Canada and the USA, ending up together at the Texas border with Mexico, and then moving ahead to their destination country. They will be coming through Austin next Friday, July 18 and need someplace for 5 Caravanistas (4 women and 1 man) to lay their weary heads for the night.
What is required of a host:
- Pick up your Caravanista(s) at Trinity Friday afternoon when they arrive (time TBA)
- Provide your Caravanista(s) with a meal Friday evening and breakfast Saturday morning
- Bring your Caravanista(s) back to Trinity Saturday morning
You will truly enjoy this experience! The Caravanistas are always very interesting and full of great information and conversation.
