Trinity Needs Food & Volunteers for Nov. 23rd!

Somehow, the pages have flown off the calendar, and we find ourselves with Thanksgiving (and then Christmas!) just around the corner. On Sunday, Nov. 23rd, Trinity’s Homeless Task Force will fill their cars with delicious food, drive downtown, and set up table after table of lovingly prepared (or joyfully store-bought) turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, dressing, vegetables, rolls, pies, cakes, and more. However, the HTF depends on the Trinity community for the success of this feast.

Without the generous spirit of Trinity cooks (and shoppers), our homeless friends would go hungry at a time when many of us are giving thanks for all the good in our lives. Please sign up for a dish by adding your name to one of the clipboards passed around the Sanctuary on Sunday morning (Nov. 16th) or email Laura ( with a note about what you can bring.

The HTF has 2 options for how to deliver your dish on Nov. 23rd: You can drop it off at Trinity by 8:00 am; or you can bring it downtown to the meal location (IH-35 & E. 7th St, underpass area) by 9:00 am. If you choose to do the latter, the HTF invites you to stay and help Read More
