Neighborhoood Housing and Community development: PLANNING, POLICY & OUTREACH works on department and city-wide planning initiatives, with a focus on short-term and long-range planning for increasing housing affordability in the City of Austin. The division also undertakes outreach efforts to the community such as educational forums, responding to citizen requests, and conducting research on housing and community development issues impacting the City of Austin.
