Electronics Recycling on March 28th

Recycle Your Unwanted or Broken Electronics

The Student Engineering Council at UT-Austin is sponsoring an E-Cycling Day from 8 am – 4 pm on Saturday, March 28. Types of items accepted include computers, power supplies, modems, cables & wires, fax machines, MP3 players, cell phones, scanners, printers, copiers, TVs, DVD/VCR players, cameras, batteries, toasters, & microwaves.

Please note that hard drives will be destroyed in each item donated, so all personal info will be protected. You don’t have to delete files or erase photos before dropping off your electronics. A metal rod will be driven through the hard drive/device, and it will then be physically shredded!

Drop-off location is UT Parking Lot 115, at the corner of E. MLK Jr. Blvd. & E. 20th St.
