Join us for a special showing of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, based on the book by William Kamkwamba and Trinity member Bryan Mealer!
Inspired by a science book, 13-year-old William builds a wind turbine to save his Malawian village from famine. Chiwetel Ejiofor directs this drama based on the true story of William Kamkwamba, whose handmade invention saved his drought-ridden village.
We will gather in the sanctuary with popcorn and drinks for the film, and a Q&A with Bryan Mealer will follow. Childcare will be provided with registration by 5/15.
The film is rated PG and considered by Common Sense Media to be great for teens and families. Please check out their review and watch the trailer to see if the film will be appropriate for your children.
