What In The World Is Creation Spirituality Anyway?–Sid Hall

Do you ever wonder what Creation Spirituality really is?  Have you wondered how we got to that way of thinking at Trinity, and how it differs from most mainline church theology?  This class, led by our pastor, Sid Hall, will explore the basic principles of Creation Spirituality and provide a basic working knowledge for those in the class.

The core theology for Trinity, Creation Spirituality is a movement that draws on ancient spiritual traditions and contemporary science to awaken authentic mysticism, revitalize Christianity and Western culture, and promote social and ecological justice. Creation Spirituality teaches that God permeates all things and that humanity is created blessed, not tainted by original sin. In this paradigm, Christ is God’s liberating and reconciling energy, transforming individuals and society’s structures into conduits of compassion. As we embody God’s love, we become the Creation that God intends.

Anti-Aging & Alzheimer’s – Ken Russell

In this seminar led by Hyde Park resident Ken Russell, we will discuss:

  • Low cost & proven strategies humans can employ to restore the telomerase impact in “reversing” the aging process.
  • Two methods proven to increase levels of intracellular telomerase.
  • Alternative strategies that may increase insulin signaling efficiency in the brain without having to spray insulin in the nose.
  • Strategies to reduce iron loading in humans. Many scientists now believe that iron loading in the brain is the most direct cause of Alzheimer’s disease.
  • The work of people like Dr. Michio Kaku, a world class physicist offering a reality check on the possibilities of anti-aging research, and Dr. Elizabeth H. Blackburn, 2009 Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine.

Delicious Dinners – Jes Garcia

For your culinary delight, our own Jes Garcia will be preparing hearty and delicious meals.  Jes’ world travels and love of wholesome food influences his creations, and we get to enjoy the results.
